This fun porcelain mug is decorated with a school of swimming Delft blue fis hand a golden ear. Fish and Heinen Delfts Blauw have always shared a connection. The roots of this family company lay in the fishermen town of Spakenburg, where grandpa Heinen was a local fisherman on the boat BU7. The fishing trade slowly lost a lot of business and the next generation Heinen made a switch to the art of Delft blue painting. While the fishing boats slowly disappeared from the sea, the fish stayed and are forever swimming around and around. This product is NOT DISHWASHER, MICROWAVE AND OVEN SAFE.
