This tableware is named after our pottery in Delft "Paauw' the Delft Bleu Factory. The Peacock with stunning motif on his feathers has been used for hundreds of years on exclusive fabrics and even in jewelry. That is because of its stunning beauty of course, but also thanks to century old tales in which the peacock is a symbol of love and that finding a peacock feather would mean good luck. Peacock blue became an iconic color and matches beautifully with the worldwide known Delft blue hues. For that reason the peacock became the source of inspiration for the newest tableware collection by Heinen Delfts Blauw. A tableware set that is decorated with gracious peacocks, in stunning Delft blue hues with green details. Which results in a collection with a royal allure, a symbol of love and luck.
