A cat and a bird usually don’t go very well together, but lady-in-waiting Toyger knows that she has to behave like the lady that she is. She will leave the goldfinch alone, even when nobody is watching. Like a classic version of Tweety & Sylvester the two look at each other but their worlds can never merge together. The goldfinch by the Dutch artist Carel Fabritius knows he is safe and takes his time to look around the room from his porcelain plate. To bring the two plates together, we’ve added a traditional Delft blue wall plate in which the Delft blue details of the other two plates, come together. All in all, a very regal set of wall plates to add a royal vibe to the walls at home.
