The Avondbloem (Evening Flower) tableware collection has clean, clear lines and a subtle decoration that does not distract from, but rather contributes to the intimate atmosphere at the table. The serene floral decorations on the porcelain resemble the traditional Delft blue paintings. Only the color is different. The master painters of Heinen Delfts Blauw paint the porcelain with cobalt oxide. A color pigment that most resembles charcoal and that only gets its iconic Delft blue color after glazing and firing in the oven. For the Avondbloem collection, we have chosen to use the color of the paint before it is baked in the oven. The result is minimalist tableware with beautiful black and gray decorations.
