A large vase requires a different way of arranging flowers. The first tip is aluminum foil. Make a not too hard ball from a wad of aluminum foil and put it at the bottom of your large flower vase. Then fill the vase with water and insert the flower stems into the vase one by one. Stick the longer branches between or along the aluminum foil plug, and let the flowers with shorter stems rest on the aluminum so that they do not sink further down.
Instead of aluminum foil, you can also use glass pebbles to fill up the large vase. Carefully fill the vase with the glass pebbles, then fill it with water and carefully insert the flower stems.
