A Delft blue storage jar is a traditional Dutch kitchen product, we simply can't run our kitchen without them. Porcelain or ceramic storage jars were originally made to keep insects and mcice away from your food and to store expensive ingredients. The more expensive Delft blue porcelain jars were more used to add beauty to the kitchen, but also as a decorative item in the living room or on a shelf.
