In the nineteenth century, the culmination of Delft factories had come to an end because of the competition from other factories and the lack of innovations.
Nowadays only a few companies in Delft produce the completely hand-painted traditional Delft blue. One of these companies is PAAUW. PAAUW, 'the Delft blue factory' produces exclusively entirely hand-painted Delft pottery.
