Debbie Wijskamp designs Blauw Bloesem tableware and home decorations for Heinen Delfts Blauw. The collection is inspired by ancient crockery and excavated pottery. There is much beauty hidden in the ephemeral and imperfect. This is reflected in the Blauw Bloesem collection.
Debbie Wijskamp has created the Blauw Bloesem collection in collaboration with Heinen Delfts Blauw. This collection has classic shapes with features of ancient pottery, found underground. The structure of this pottery is reflected in the Blauw Bloesem collection.
"Usually there are large decorations on Delft blue products, but I just wanted to remove small parts and place them on one side of the pottery. The decoration crawls out of the edge, as it were. That gives the service a calm appearance."
