butterflies, tulips and color!

Vases with 3D effect

It’s a trend that started last year, but this season it’s really taking off: vases with a 3D effect. Think of colorful tulips that seem to grow out of the vases, delicate butterflies resting on the porcelain, or modern geometric folds that give the vase structure. The new collection of vases from Heinen Delfts Blauw has it all.

Since tulips are the symbol of the start of spring and share a special history with Delft blue pottery, we’ve chosen 3D tulips for this collection. While we usually lean towards more subdued colors that complement the timeless blue-on-white, for this collection we’ve decided to go bold. Because that bright orange color just pops wonderfully against the white porcelain! A collection of vases full of joy, liveliness, and that delightful spring feeling.

Modern Vases full of Surpises

The new collection Vlindergoud continues in the same trend as the 3D tulip vases, but this time in a very delicate and subtle way. The Delft blue vases stand out with their modern shapes, such as cylinders and egg shapes. On the smooth surface of the vases, countless graceful, golden butterflies have landed, resting on the porcelain. The 3D butterflies add movement to the otherwise sleek vases and create a golden sparkle in the spring sunlight. These vases fit into any interior thanks to their timeless colors and clean shapes.

Geometric Vases

Our Blauw Vouw collection by designer Romy Kühne has been incredibly popular for years. This spring, we're expanding the collection with a series of new flower vases. As we've come to expect from this innovative designer, these vases feature surprising elements that create the ultimate wow-effect in your living room.

The most eye-catching vase in the Blauw Vouw collection is the stackable vase. This showstopper consists of four different vases that can be stacked in and on top of each other. This creates a modern take on the traditional pyramid vase, often used for tulips. Want to create something different? Then this vase will challenge your creativity, as you can arrange the four separate vases however you like and fill them with small bouquets. Get creative this spring!

The new bottle vase is also a striking presence in the Blauw Vouw collection. This old Dutch shape was very popular in the past, but Romy has added her own twist. The wide belly of the vase is adorned with her signature geometric folds, giving it a sturdy stance on the table. The long, slim neck is perfect for arranging tall branches or large flowers. If you prefer to display a large, colorful bouquet, the two sizes of collar vases are ideal. The wide opening, or collar, supports the delicate flowers, helping them stay beautiful longer.

Delft Blue Tulip Vases

Spring is the season of tulips. The Keukenhof is in full bloom again, and the colorful rows of tulips in all imaginable shapes and varieties attract visitors from all over the world. For centuries, the tulip has been a special and beloved flower, inseparably linked to the Netherlands. During the famous tulip mania, several centuries ago, tulips could even be worth more than a canal house in Amsterdam.

Especially for this iconic flower, Delft potters developed the tulip vase. Today, tulip vases come in various types, sizes, shapes, and patterns, but they are always recognizable by the multiple small spouts that support each delicate flower stem individually. Our Orchidee tulip vases are elegant examples, decorated all around with slender, Delft blue flowers. The minimalist design fits into any interior and makes the vase a statement piece in itself.

Vases with Canal Houses

Bring the coziness of the Netherlands into your home with these beautiful ceramic house vases. These vases are not only functional flower vases but also a decorative object in their own right. Each vase is richly decorated around the entire surface with a detailed Delft blue illustration of iconic canal houses from Dutch city centers.

The painting by our master painter is inspired by the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Amsterdam Canal Ring and brings the rich history and culture of the Netherlands to life in a unique way. This illustration has then been turned into a high-quality transfer, which is applied beneath the glaze of the vase, ensuring that the decoration remains beautiful for a long time. The glossy ceramic and timeless Delft blue motifs create a perfect balance between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics.
