Celebrating Amsterdam
Did you know that Amsterdam is celebrating its birthday this year? According to the oldest documentation, the city exists 750 years and that is reason for a celebration. Everywhere in the historic capital is bursting with special festivities and activities in which you can participate. Combine the party with a visit to the stores of Heinen Delfts Blauw and admire the historic buildings in which we are located, such as on Damrak, Prinsengracht and Muntplein. The Munttoren is as high as 35 meters and on this spot used to be an important city gate built from the year 1480. The tower also houses a carillon with as many as 38 bells. Every Saturday at 2 p.m. you can enjoy a concert here by city carillonneur Gideon Bodden.

After a nice walk in the woods, enjoy an artisanal, composed sandwich full of fresh ingredients from the region with a touch of Delft Blue flair.
