People would stop and admire the striking oriental designs. Jaap Heinen’s painting talent did not go unnoticed. Orders started pouring in so quickly that his son, Jorrit, joined in to help. Together, they eventually opened a shop in Amsterdam — and so the story of Heinen Delfts Blauw began. A golden history!
