Bottle Vase - Blauw Vouw - Ceramic - 40 cm

This large bottle vase is a modern version of the traditional Delft blue bottle vases. The vase stands out with its round, bulbous body that can hold plenty of water, while the long, narrow neck rises high above it. This makes the vase especially suitable for tall branches and large flowers. The bottle vase is part of the Blauw Vouw (Blue Fold) collection and was designed by Romy Kühne. 

The ceramic traditions of Asia and the Netherlands are inextricably linked. This is reflected in the Blauw Vouw collection by designer Romy Kühne. What she has created is a remarkable fusion of the Asian folding art Origami and traditional Dutch Delft blue. In addition to a tableware set, she has also designed a series of vases that can be nicely mixed and matched together.
