Bring Dutch coziness and the relaxed spirit of the Mediterranean to your table with this dip bowl from our Majolica collection. Inspired by centuries-old majolica traditions from Southern Europe and the rich history of Delft blue pottery, this collection brings together two worlds in a breezy, hand-painted tableware line with a warm and welcoming feel. Majolica was the predecessor of Delft blue and was introduced to the Netherlands in the 16th century via Italy and Spain. Italian potters collaborated with Delftware artisans, creating a distinctive style: loosely painted ceramics with blue decorations on a white tin glaze. This technique forms the artistic foundation of our collection. Each Majolica dip bowl is hand-painted with free, expressive brushstrokes. No two pieces are exactly alike and it’s these small imperfections that give the collection its charm and character. Despite its Southern inspiration, this bowl feels authentically Dutch. The recognizable Delft blue tones, classic details like studded and wavy edges, and the visible craftsmanship make this dip bowl a contemporary tribute to Dutch ceramic heritage.
