A cheerful kitchen towel full of dodos and ornamental birds. This kitchen towel is part of The Heritage Collection and was designed by artist Pepijn van den Nieuwendijk. It features a lonely dodo surrounded by a colorful gathering of tropical ornamental birds. These birds proudly show off their beautiful feathers and have been a popular decorative motif on Delft blue pottery for centuries. The Heritage Collection was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Heinen Delfts Blauw. For this special anniversary collection, Pepijn van den Nieuwendijk explored the history of both Heinen Delfts Blauw and Delft blue pottery. During his journey through the past, he encountered the tragic story of the dodo, and in this collection, he has brought the endearing bird back to life. The kitchen towel is made of 100% cotton and is jacquard woven.
