Easter 2026

To create a beautiful Easter table setting, you start with the basics and that means color. Because Easter marks the true beginning of spring, we are choosing lots of color this year. Of course, Delft blue and white remain our base colors, but we brighten them up with the exuberant hues of a flower meadow in full bloom. As a cheerful centerpiece, we’ve chosen the large milk churn vase from the Wildbloemen (Wildflowers) collection. This sturdy vase is ideal for displaying large Easter branches and is decorated all around with a vibrant mix of wildflowers. The colors burst from it, and the vase instantly brings warmth and cheer to the Easter table.

Decorate your Easter table

Tulip vase as centerpiece

Start decorating the Easter table from the center and work your way toward the outer edges. Depending on the shape and size of the table, choose a matching vase as the centerpiece. Because we have a large rectangular Easter table, we opt for the generously sized milk-churn vase. If you have, for example, a round breakfast table, it’s nice to choose a round tulip vase on a pedestal. That way, the vase stands out clearly above the rest of the set Easter table. The chosen vase forms the basis for the rest of the Easter table décor for the Easter breakfast.

decorate the branches

Fill the Easter branches with Easter ornaments

Creating an Easter branch arrangement is a typical European Easter tradition. Easter branches symbolize growth, life, and fertility. They come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from large tree branches from the garden to small, twisting branches displayed in a vase. Indoors, branches of hazel, curly willow, and the thinner forsythia are especially popular. These branches work well in slightly larger vases and are sturdy enough to be decorated with plenty of Easter ornaments. An Easter branch is an ideal decorative element for adding a touch of color. We choose our new Delft blue Easter ornaments made of white porcelain. Vary the shapes with rabbits, little birds, or charming snowdrops. Complete the Easter branches with a few eggs in Delft blue or in your chosen accent color.

Set the Easter table

Fold napkins for Easter

A very simple way to decorate the Easter table nicely is to fold napkins. Choose a nice, large napkin made of sturdy paper or fabric. The napkin can have a nice print, an eye-catching color or just a quiet plain pattern. Just whatever goes nicely with your chosen dinnerware. Roll or fold the napkin into a thin strip of fabric. It's best to fold diagonally so you get cute points you can use as ears. Take a hard-boiled egg, fold the napkin around it and tie it together with a ribbon. Unfold the ears a bit and place on the center of a plate. Add a small flower if necessary for an extra festive effect.

enjoy a cozy meal together

Tableware for the Easter breakfast

Now that the center of your Easter table is decorated, you can work your way outward. Choose a beautiful tableware set that matches the atmosphere you want to create at the table. We chose the Wildbloemen (Wildflowers) tableware, as the cheerful porcelain reminds us of the beginning of spring and brings a sense of warmth and togetherness to the table.

For an Easter breakfast or Easter brunch, you’ll need generously sized breakfast plates, mugs for coffee and tea, and bowls in various sizes for fresh fruit and warm bread rolls. And of course, don’t forget the egg cups! Arrange everything so that your guests can easily reach it all and enjoy the delicious food and the good company.

Add decorations

Easter decorations on the table

The Easter table is almost ready! The Easter branch is in the center of the table and hanging full of cute Easter pendants, the china is neatly set by each chair and the bowls of food have been served. As a finishing touch, add a few fun Easter figurines like these modern porcelain Easter bunnies. Place them scattered here and there among the dishes and plates, as if they were real bunnies exploring the treats at the table. Or hide a few typical spring creatures like butterflies and dragonflies among the decorations as little surprises. Enjoy your meal!
