Paint the most beautiful patterns
The workshop starts with a refreshment and an appetizer during the introduction. Here we tell you all about the history of pottery and Heinen Delft Blue. This will give you more insight and knowledge about the ceramic products and it might give you inspiration for your own design. After the informative part it is time to roll up your sleeves and get started. Grab a paint brush and pick a pattern!
The floral motif and the Dutch windmill are popular patterns, but you can also choose a boat, a bird, a lake... All patterns are ready for you to use, trace the pattern and start straight away. Are you looking for a bigger challange? Create your own pattern.

Learn from a professional
During the workshop a professional master painter is present to guide your group. He or she knows all about the art of painting Delft Blue and shares tips to bring out the best of your painting abilities. Everything for a perfect end result that you are happy with! Before we come to that result, Heinen Delft Blue glazes and fires your tile.
A painted tile needs about 14 days to cool down. After that time you can collect your finished product in one of the branches of Heinen Delft Blue in Delft, Amsterdam or Putten. Are you not capable of visiting one of the branches? Of course we can also post the tile to your home, for a small fee.
Accessibility
The workshop is located in the heart of Amsterdam. By the heart of Amsterdam we mean the famous building 'De Munt' on the Munt Square in Amsterdam, Muntplein 12. The monumental building is easy to reach by public transport: tram 4, 14 and 24, stop 'Rokin' or by subway 52 stop 'Rokin'. If you come by car you can park in parking garage Kalverstraat, the closest parking spot. You can report yourself at our counter, in the tower or in the main building.
