The painting Girl with a pearl earring might be the most famous painting by Johannes Vermeer.We added this girl with her dreamy look to our mug as part of our collection. Our own master painters took the original portrait and added a stunning floral decor in pastel colors around her. The gold colored handle is a reference to the Golden Age, a period in time during which Dutch painters created their best masterpieces that are still admired today. Heinen Delfts Blauw created this special collection, to use the eyes of the master painter to look at our shared history as this is also the place and time where Delft blue pottery became popular.
