Visit the impressive Winter Palace 'Het Loo'. The royal palace turned into a winter palace till January 5th and Heinen Delft Blue contributed a couple of handpainted Delft blue vases. Worth a visit!

De burgemeester van Delft, Marja van Bijsterveldt, heeft de twee grootste Delfts blauwe vazen ter wereld een warm welkom gegeven. Het VOC-schip dat de twee vazen vervoert kwam vanmorgen vroeg aan in Delft, waar de masten er opnieuw moeten worden opgezet zodat het schip onder de lage bruggen door kan. Dit was een mooie gelegenheid voor de burgemeester om het schip, zijn bemanning en zijn kostbare lading een goede tijd in Delft te wensen. Zij deed dit op traditionele wijze door het leggen van een oude VOC-munt onder de mast.
