Foudamour
The Foudamour is a handmade candlestick that consists of two cones and a sphere. This model was created from leftover clay that Victor de Bie collected at the end of the day in his ceramics studio. The figures he made in this way form the basis of this valuable gift. Each candlestick has a unique appearance and its own character with associated properties. They are light bearers, who fill the space in peace and quiet and with silent power. The striking 'love fools' are inspired by people from Victor's life.

Victor de Bie
Victor de Bie comes from a family of artists and graduated in 2001 from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie as a fashion designer. He is raised in a bilingual home (French and Dutch), which explains the French name for the collection. After an impressive carreer in the fashion world, he decides to continue as an independent artist. As a visual artist he creates his own universe through drawings, paintings and making objects. He reflects on the world around him in an autobiographical way, in which he always looks to push the boundaries between art and design.
