These tropical wall plates refer to the very beginning of Heinen Delfts Blauw. Founding father Jaap Heinen and his son Jorrit started the company by painting in the Japanese and Chinese Imari style, with bold colours like cobalt blue, iron red, jungle green and gold. We recreate these exotic worlds to bring them back into our homes, but this time we added a Delft blue touch and gave them a modern design.
