The former released Sharing Moments collection is now extended with the Monkeys collection. “Monkey business is a synonym for pulling pranks and for imitating human behaviour”, says Janny about her new design. “The playful monkeys on the new tableware set for Heinen Delfts Blauw brings a smile to your face. This theme of monkeys in funny situations has been a popular décor on porcelain for over four hundred years and we love to bring them back to the dining table. In Asia they often decorate porcelain with monkeys as a symbol for wisdom and a long life.” This porcelain coffee mug has a traditional Delft blue edge on the bottom part but the rim is decorated with elegant branches and dangling monkeys.
